Providenciales (Provo) is the main island, and almost every resort is strung along Grace Bay — a 12-mile stretch of absurdly good water. Picking the right one comes down to three questions: do you want all-inclusive or à la carte, family-friendly or adults-only, and how far down the beach do you want to be?

The contenders

Beaches Turks & Caicos

All-inclusive, family-focused. Water park, teen scene, 21 restaurants. Can feel like a cruise ship on land.

Best for: families with kids 5–15.

Grace Bay Club

Adults-only, à la carte. Three sections (Villas, Estate, Grace Bay). The infinity pool over the beach is worth the price alone.

Best for: couples, honeymooners.

The Palms

Residential vibe, huge suites, quieter end of Grace Bay. Dune Cafe breakfast is a highlight.

Best for: multi-gen families, groups.

COMO Parrot Cay

Private island resort, separate ferry. Serene, design-forward, no kids\' club — they make it clear. Expensive.

Best for: serious escape, no distractions.

What's included vs. what's not

"All-inclusive" means different things depending on the resort. Here's the typical breakdown at a mid-tier all-inclusive like Beaches:

What's included
  • Every restaurant (no dinner reservations cost extra)

  • All drinks, including premium liquor

  • Non-motorized water sports (kayaks, paddleboards, snorkels)

  • Kids' and teens' clubs

  • Scuba diving (PADI-certified guests)

  • Butler service at top room categories

Not included
  • Spa treatments

  • Excursions off-property (half-day catamaran, Conch Farm, etc.)

  • Gratuities for above-and-beyond service

  • Airport transfers (check — some packages include)

  • Resort taxes (10–12%, usually not in quoted rate)

FAQ

Do I need a car?

Not at most resorts. Grace Bay has everything walkable. Rent for one day if you want to drive to Chalk Sound or the Caicos Conch Farm.

Is the water really that good?

Yes. TripAdvisor repeatedly names Grace Bay the #1 beach in the world and we've never had a client disagree.

Can we use US dollars?

Exclusively. T&C uses USD as its official currency.

What's the hurricane risk?

June–November is hurricane season, with August and September the peak. Travel insurance with Cancel For Any Reason is cheap peace of mind.
